DANIEL GOULD LEVINE is the author of HYDE (HMH 2014), a New York Times Editor’s Choice and one of The Washington Post’s “5 Best Thrillers of the Year.” He has published fiction and nonfiction in Tin House, The LA Review of Books, The Millions, The Hopkins Review, Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, and elsewhere. He received his MFA in Fiction from the University of Florida; now he teaches at the University of Colorado Boulder and Lighthouse Writers Workshop, and lives in Longmont CO with his family. He is writing a second novel that retells Frankenstein in a futuristic Rock of Gibraltar, with genetic engineering, Barbary macaques, and Neanderthals.
